Why most of the Arvell catalog runs Ronda calibres - 5030.D, R150, Z60 and 715 explained.
Most of the catalog runs movements from Ronda, the Swiss movement manufacturer in Lausen. Four calibres:
Ronda 5030.D - the workhorse chronograph
Powers all Corvin and Regent chronographs: Swiss quartz chronograph, 13 jewels, 3-6-9 layout, ADD and SPLIT timing, ~54 months battery life. Chosen for precision and low ownership cost at scale.
Ronda R150 - the Swiss automatic
Regent Automatic references: 25 jewels, 28,800 vph, 40 h power reserve. Ronda's answer to the ETA 2824 platform, serviceable by any watchmaker.
Ronda Z60 and 715 - the quartz three-handers
Z60 drives the 48 mm Arden line, the 715 the Davos collection - proven quartz calibres with multi-year battery life and worldwide parts availability.
What's next
Ronda introduced the R01 automatic in June 2026 (80 h reserve, silicon escapement) - we are evaluating it for future references.
Why not in-house?
