Chronograph Reset

How to use and reset the chronograph on the Corvin chronographs (Ronda 5030.D), including zero-position correction after battery change.

Normal use (Corvin chronographs)

  • Top pusher (A): start / stop the chronograph.
  • Bottom pusher (B): reset to zero (only while stopped).

Layout (Ronda 5030.D, 3-6-9): central chronograph second, 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, running small second at 3 o'clock, date at 4 o'clock. The movement supports ADD and SPLIT (intermediate) timing. Full layout in the Corvin 43 mm datasheet.

Zero-position correction

After a battery change, chronograph hands can sit off zero. To correct:

  1. Pull the crown to position 3.
  2. Press pusher A repeatedly (or hold) to advance the central chronograph hand to exactly 12 o'clock.
  3. Press pusher B to advance the counter hands to zero the same way.
  4. Push the crown back to position 1.

This is a feature of the Ronda 5030.D, not a defect.
