Setting the Watch
How to set time and date on Arvell quartz and automatic references.
Time and date (all references)
- Pull the crown to position 2 (first click): date setting. Turn clockwise to advance the date.
- Pull the crown to position 3 (second click): time setting. The seconds hand stops (hacking) - useful for setting to the second.
- Push the crown fully back to position 1.
Avoid setting the date between 21:00 and 03:00 - the date change mechanism is engaged and can be damaged (applies to all three calibres).
Regent Automatic: starting a stopped watch
If the watch has stopped, wind it manually: crown in position 1, turn clockwise ~20 turns. Then set time and date. The R150 builds its 40-hour power reserve through wear.
Corvin chronographs
Time and date as above. Chronograph functions are covered under Chronograph Reset.
