Battery and Service
Battery change intervals, service intervals, costs and where to get Arvell watches serviced.
Quartz references (Corvin 43 mm, archive earlier references)
Battery life: ~54 months (Corvin 43 mm, Ronda 5030.D), ~45 months (earlier references, Ronda 715). When the battery runs low, have it changed promptly - leaking cells damage movements. Any watchmaker can change it; insist on a water-resistance test afterwards. Typical cost: 20-40 CHF including gasket check.
Automatic reference (Regent Automatic)
The Ronda R150 should be serviced every 5-7 years depending on wear. A full service (disassembly, cleaning, oiling, gaskets, regulation) costs 150-250 CHF at independent watchmakers. No proprietary parts: any watchmaker with Ronda access can service it.
Serviceability policy
- Movements are standard Ronda calibres - replaceable outright if servicing is uneconomical.
- Sapphire crystals, crowns and pushers are stocked for all current references and for archive references for at least 10 years after discontinuation.
- Warranty service is handled directly by Arvell in Zürich (5 years, current collection).
