Serviceability & Spare Parts
What happens to your Arvell watch in ten years - parts policy, independent service, movement replacement.
The question every buyer should ask a young brand: what happens to my watch in ten years? Our answers, in writing:
Can any watchmaker service it?
Yes. All Arvell movements are standard Ronda and Miyota calibres - parts and know-how are available to every trained watchmaker worldwide. No proprietary movements, no sealed cases, no "manufacturer only" policy.
Parts policy
| Part | Availability commitment |
|---|---|
| Movements | Replaceable outright (standard calibres), indefinitely |
| Sapphire crystals | Stocked ≥ 10 years after a reference is discontinued |
| Crowns, pushers, gaskets | Stocked ≥ 10 years after discontinuation |
| Bracelets, clasps, bezels | Stocked while reference is current + 5 years |
| Dials & hands | Repair stock only - cosmetic restoration not guaranteed |
Discontinued references
Archive models (e.g. earlier quartz references) remain serviceable: the Ronda 715 is still in production, and case parts are stocked per the table above.
If servicing ever becomes uneconomical
Because movements are standard, a complete movement swap costs less than a full service on many in-house calibres - that is the deliberate trade-off of our movement strategy.
